June 27, 2025: Graduation Ceremony

On June 27, 2025, the Faculty of Environment at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (UJEP) held a formal graduation ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of studies by students from Bachelor’s, follow-up Master’s, and Doctoral programs, in both full-time and combined study modes.

Among the doctoral graduates honored was Robert Ato Newton, who successfully defended his dissertation, conducted within the framework of the NATO G6094 scientific project, on April 24, 2025. He received his PhD certificate during the ceremony.

The event was organized by the Study Department, coordinated by Věra Janečková and Mgr. Zuzana Pavlasová. The ceremony was chaired by Ing. Jan Popelka, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for Studies at the Faculty of Environment, and was graced by the presence of Alena Chvátalová, Vice-Rector for Studies at UJEP. Academic certificates were ceremoniously awarded by Josef Trögl, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for Science and Research.
