Discussion on Cooperation for the Extension of Phytotechnology Research

On February 6, 2026, Prof. NPD Pidlisnyuk held a meeting at FZP UJEP with Dr. Inna Čábelková, Associate Professor of Economics at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, and Prof. Luboš Smutka from the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and Mendel University in Brno. The discussion focused on extending phytotechnology research to include economic aspects and the evaluation of human behaviour related to the adoption of these technologies.

The meeting highlighted the importance of integrating economic analysis and behavioural perspectives to better understand stakeholder decision-making and to support effective implementation of phytotechnological solutions. Prof. Michal Hejcman, PhD students Kantrien Booney and Abdulmannan Rouchani, and Assistant Professor Jakub Vošádká also participated, contributing interdisciplinary expertise. Overall, the participants agreed that such an integrated approach is essential for enhancing the practical applicability and societal acceptance of phytotechnologies.
