February 27, 2025: Project Progress Meeting 7

On February 27, 2025 the Progress Project Meeting 7 within the Milestone 3 of G6094 “Mitigation of climate change through advanced phytotechnology for military lands” was held at UJEP in the mixed form: UJEP participants were in persons, members of other teams were connected on-line. Altogether 19 individuals participated in the meeting including representatives of UJEP, TVHNPU, NULP, NULES, RMC, and linkage institutions KazNU and ZU.

Prof. Pidlisnyuk, NPD opened the event and presented the state of implementation at the midterm of project’s life. She stressed the necessary to strongly follow achieving of projects goals and tasks in respect to the deliverables and indicators. The state of the budget layout was introduced by Mgr. Blanka Cerna, UJEP.

Thereafter the results received in Mil3 for the period: December, 2024-February, 2025 were presented by teams from TVHNPU (PhD student Viktor Markiv and Dr. Andriy Hertz, PPD); NULP (Dr. Vitalii Stadnik), NULES (Dr. Tatyana Stefanovska), RMC (Dr. Mariya Marinova), UJEP (Dr. Karim Al Souki, PhD student Robert Ato Newton, PhD student Abdulmannan Rouhani), KazNU (PhD student Zhuldyz Batykova). The discussion followed was concentrated on design of film based on projects’ activities and requests to the Progress Report No. 3 to be submitted by May 26, 2025. Dr. Andriy Hertz, PPD presented the draft design of the virtual Training 2 “Exchanging knowledge gained during the project across the young researchers” scheduled for October 9, 2025.

The the next Project Progress Meeting 8 is scheduled for May 30, 2025.
