Follow-Up Projects by Young Researchers originated from SPS MYP G6094

Some of the project’s innovative research directions have recently received financial support from the governments of Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Dr. Vitalii Stadnik, Co-Director of the project and a researcher at LPNU, was awarded a grant from the Ukrainian Research Foundation under its program supporting early-career researchers pursuing doctoral degrees. The funded research addresses the topic: “An innovative approach to the rehabilitation of degraded soils to promote sustainable bioenergy production in Ukraine through the cultivation of the energy crop Miscanthus × giganteus.”

Mgr. Zhuldyz Batykova, a PhD student at the linkage institution Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakhstan, completed a research internship at UJEP under the supervision of NPD, Co-Advisor Professor Valentyna Pidlisnyuk. This her research, focused on the development of a biochar-based microbial carrier, was awarded a stipend from the Government of Kazakhstan addressed the topic: “Fabrication and Characterization of a Biochar-Based Microbial Carrier Produced from Agricultural Waste.”
