May 25, 2026: Participation of the UJEP team at the Conference StudKon 2026

On May 25, 2026, the 8th Conference for Young Researchers and PhD Students, StudKon 2026, was organized at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Young researchers from the G6094 team presented two reports highlighting recent project results.

The report entitled “Evaluating Brownfield Phytoremediation with Miscanthus × giganteus and Arundo donax Using Soil Bioindicators and Plant Performance in the Presence of Organic Amendments”, co-authored by Ghazwa Basma, Karim Al Souki, Tatyana Stefanovska, Abdulmannan Rouhani, Batul Hamade, and Valentina Pidlisnyuk, was presented by PhD student Ghazwa Basma.

A second report, “Advancing Biomass Ash Application from Controlled Trials to Field Validation for Soil and Plant Enhancement”, co-authored by Karim Al Souki, Ghazwa Basma, and Valentina Pidlisnyuk, was presented by PhD student Abdulmannan Rouhani.

Both presenters successfully addressed numerous questions from the audience following their presentations.
